I'm having trouble to setup the Sync modus with OCS : OCSNG
This is what a did, Step By Step:
1) Setup -> OCSNG Mode
1.1) Add link to up and running ocs database
1.2) Devices/Monitors/Printers/Software --> Unit Import
1.3) Number of computers to synchronize using the cron : 100
1.4) Automatic connection of machines --> Activate the automatic link : Yes
2) Tools -> OCSNG
2.1) Import new computers
3) Inventory -> Machines
Contains all machines in OCS , so this works
4) Inventory -> Software
Is empty ?
Is there a manual available for 'auto' syncronisation with OCS?
Last but not least the GLPI interface is one of the best i've tried ..
Thx

use dictionnary software -> no, then force synchronisation on your computers
you should use mass_ocs_import plugin to synchronize/import computers from ocs

Hi Wawa, that did the trick for getting my software imported.
I've installed the 'OCS massive import plugin' with following config:
Enable logging : Yes
Display informations if nothing was done : Yes
Update informations every : 5 Machines
Delete processes after : 24 hours
Effacer les processus vides après : 0 hours (don't now what this is?)
Number of seconds between to rereshs of the process page (0 means no refresh) : 0 seconds
Machine number of machines to process by thread (0 means no limit) : 0
Warn if not imported machines : Yes
Default OCS server : MyServerName
Number of machines : 5
Control the OCS import script : Synchronization locked.
Now my OCS logged inventory doesn't show up in GLPI ...
Any ideas what could be wrong?

ocs import script should be unlocked
then you must lauch ocsng_fullsync.sh script

You should enable the sync (remove the lock) from the plugin interface.

Hi Remi,
Had already done that, like wawa suggested:
Configuration of OCS massive import plugin:
Control the OCS import script
Synchronization unlocked
Offline
Aha, remove the lock = Control the OCS import script Set to 'Synchronization locked '
Tried, i don't have any other errors, but still nothing happens, 'Informations about scripts exectution' is empty ...

I've removed the GLPI database.
Reinstalled GLPI, with OCS Sync, as described here: http://blog.famillecollet.com/pages/OCS-GLPI-en
I run the script '....\mass_ocs_import\scripts\run.bat
Output:
Chemins php et du script a lancer
Definition du path
Lancement du script
In GLPI, Plugins, OCS Massive import :
Informations about scripts exectution / Not imported computer list ==> Are both Empty.
Could it be that the OCS Sync doesn't work in a Windows enviroment?
Thx,

RESOLVED:
For all the one with the same issue:
Delete following file:
....\htdocs\GLPI\files\_log\ocsng_fullsync.pid
Start Script:
....\mass_ocs_import\scripts\run.bat
(I had to do the above steps twice, as the first time the script 'hanged' ..)

I close the thread
