Hello,
I found the GLPI software while googling open source helpdesk software. I was wondering if one of you would be so kind to show me your ticket system and how you use it.
I am not clear on how the software works. Please lead me in the right direction or a link to another post which may answer my questions:
Once the software is installed and we set up the LDAP authentication, can our faculty, staff and students create their own tickets through a web page? (I am the e-learning specialist and in charge of the open source software Moodle for our university)

yes it is. Your users would be able to create ticket through form or email if you want.
Other thing : don't remenber exactly but i think that threre is a extansion (mods) that was developped by moodl community to link GLPI and Moodle.
