Groups in Active Directory

Hello,

I have tried to configure grupos in GLPI using AD-group membership, using "memberof2 and the name of an AD group...

But I need to guess group membership looking the OU within the AD that users belong to... I have tried using "distinguishedName" as LDAP attribute and LDAP value "CN=*,OU=MYOU" but it doesn't work...

How could I achieve this?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

M.A.

Re: Groups in Active Directory

I need too to do something like this!
I have an AD domain, separated in about 10 main OUs, each one recursively fragmented in smaller OUs.
I'd like to import all my users and automatically assign them a group named as one of the 10 main OUs, ignoring the AD groups and nested OUs... can I do that automatically?

I've found an old 2006 post where a glpi administrator said that it was not a supported feature at the time.... but what about now?
