Installing OCS Inventory NG

Hello,

iam trying to install OCS Inventory.
I use this manual: http://wiki.ocsinventory-ng.org/index.p … umentation
But im receiving this error:

Checking for Apache::DBI PERL module...
*** ERROR: PERL module Apache::DBI is not installed !

I already tried to update al perl- packages etc.

And also installed the modules of course by doing:
    * yum install perl-XML-Simple
    * yum install perl-Compress-Zlib
    * yum install perl-DBI
    * yum install perl-DBD-MySQL
    * yum install perl-Apache-DBI
    * yum install perl-Net-IP
    * yum install perl-SOAP-Lite

Can anyone help me with this??
My OS:  Centos Version 5

Re: Installing OCS Inventory NG

Dear Wawa, i already tried to use the rpm's. Also without a solution.
I add the "dag" repository. And then i reinstalled al the above perl- packages.
Now its working fine. So the default repositories of CentOs 5 aren't enough.

Thanks for replying.

Re: Installing OCS Inventory NG

All the OCS dependencies are available in EPEL repository.

Read : http://blog.famillecollet.com/post/2008 … CS-et-GLPI

Well, it is written in french but most code is understandable, i think.
