opening tickets via email

Can someone provide me instructions on how to setup "Submitting\opening tickets via email"?  I have checked all over but i havnt been able to find any information on how to use this feature.

1/ read the documentation
2/ creation a email adress somewhere
3/ Menu : Setup / Mail gateways
4/ Menu : Administration / Rules / Business rules for tickets, if needed

Thank you for your help.  I would apreciate it if you could please point me to this documentation? all i see on the website is an install document.  I will probably find all the answers to my other questions too.

I too am struggling with the creation of tickets via email. I've looked through the documentation , forums and wiki but cannot find how to set GPLI up so that tickets sent to a specific email address can automatically create a support ticket. I'm currently using 0.71.2. Is there a more specific place in the wiki where I should be looking
