Definition and assignment of components

Hi all,
I am trying GLPI for first time and I have question. I want to assign specific parts to the computers like mainboard, HDD and others. Everything works, but I want to file the SN. So specific maindoard must be assigned to the one computer. It also could be done, but when I assign it to one computer, system allow me to assign the same board into another computer. I think, that better should be that there will be some flag which will not allow to assign to more than one (or how many I bought) computers.
Do you have some suggestion how to solve it?

This is not possible for components (global management only), only for peripheral (in unit management mode)

You could enter your S/N in the notes of the computer.

Thanks, it works and it seems that it should be usefull. However to do it in components should be better ;-)
