Adding new device types

How can I manually add my new types of devices to GLPI that do not support SNMP and work over the network, for example, analog cameras, video recorders, UPS, access controllers, etc.? This is necessary to account for all available equipment.

I am not sure if I am understand you in the right way but you can add manually your items into the inventory section. It´s just a question which category of asset you will use.

you understood correctly.  This is the problem - my equipment does not fit into the existing categories.  There is no way to create new categories?

you can use the general device type. I have seen in the glpi marketplace there are plugins which allows to create own categories. Please check
