qnap - glpi 9.4.2 - QMariadb 10.4.7 --> engine version seems too old

Hi Guys,
I have been trying for a long time to install the new version of GLPI (9.4.2) on my qnap nas.
I always get the error during the setup "Your database engine version seems too old: 5.5.57." but it is QMariadb 10.4.7 installed.
What am I doing wrong ?
Has anyone ever had this?
I do not know anymore.

Hi,
In order to use QMariaDB you need to add in /etc/host.conf this :

127.0.0.1    QMariaDB

and modify the my.cnf to replace the port (with 3308) and the socket (with /tmp/QMariadDB2.sock).
After this you'll be able to connect to QMariaDB.

Or just use 127.0.0.1 to configure the connection to the database during the installation-update of GLPI
