Mail Notification - For Attached Documents

Hi guys,

I have a question about the mail notifications. I like to add a custom mail notification when the technicians reply a ticket and attach a document. The actually mail notification can´t attach a document, and i like to add a line in this mail indicating that´s necessary log in on the web (frontend) to see the attached document.

Thanks!

Re: Mail Notification - For Attached Documents

Sending attached file to mailgate:
Setup -> Notifications -> Add Documents into Ticket Notifications -> Yes

Then to edit what you want to send in mail content:

Setup -> Notifications -> Notification Templates

You can create new templates or edit old ones (by language).

Also can define very basic conditionals for what you want.

Re: Mail Notification - For Attached Documents

I have a related question to this topic, i just using this thread.
We are using GLPI 0_91_2.

There is any way to attach files/documents directly into the notification mail as an attachment?

I already tried the notifiaction options within the templates but there i get links to the tickets only. The recipient doesn't have access to the internal network, the links don't work so i need to attach the documents/files.

Re: Mail Notification - For Attached Documents

Sure

Setup -> Notifications -> Email Followups Configuration -> Add Documents into Ticket Notifications -> Yes

By the way, you should create new Topic.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the fast reply, but i already tried this and doesn't work, even on a fresh installation.
I'm using "Way of sending emails" PHP, maybe this only work with smtp?

Re: Mail Notification - For Attached Documents

Tested it with smtp, but still only get the URL to the document not the attachment in the mail.
Any other suggestions?
I managed to hardcode the attachment for each mail, but thats only quit and dirty, not the solution i was hoping for. I always have to rewrite the code each time i do an update.

Hi Sebastian,

Would you be able to share the code you used as I am in a similar situation?

Thank you
Alex

Re: Mail Notification - For Attached Documents

Attachment file doesn't work for me too.. Already have checked that flag using SMTP. I'm working with 9.4.1.1 (last version)
