glpi auth - ldaps on linux

Hello

server: Ubuntu 18
GLPI: 9.3.3

im not able to get ldaps authentication working on GLPI. Everything works if i use port 389, but as soon as i change the port to 636, it gives error Test failed: Main server DC.
Used wiki.glpi-project.org/doku.php?id=en:authautoad:tls this to get AD CA cert to server.
ldap.conf:
TLS_CACERT /etc/ssl/certs/ca_glpi.cer
TLS_CACERTDIR /etc/ssl/certs
TLS_REQCERT never

Also from forum.glpi-project.org/viewtopic.php?id=127804 i added:
LDAPTrustedGlobalCert CA_BASE64 /etc/ssl/certs/ca_glpi.cer to apache2.conf but this doesnt help.
For some reason the /var/log/glpi folder is empty even when i put debug mode on.
Can you suggest what else should i try?

Thank you!

Re: glpi auth - ldaps on linux

Hello Elligipi,

I am encountering a similar problem. Check if your logs are available in /var/www/html/files/_log/php-errors.log (or similar directory if you are not using Apache2).

Re: glpi auth - ldaps on linux

Yeah, the log location was /var/www/glpi/files/_log. I could get ldaps working when i chose "Use TLS = no" and server address not ip address but ldaps://server
