How do I add a new hardware type to the assets tab ?
We want to use GLPI for equipment accounting. In addition to what is already available in the tab "Assets" (Computers, Monitors, Printers, and so on), we need to add commercial equipment. Here are some examples. (Scales, barcode Scanners, Cash registers, money boxes, and so on ......). How can I change the default list of items in the Assets tab?

I would add all these items as devices types, since they can be easily connected to a Computer.
You could also use Generic Object plugin, but I wouldn't use it for this kind of asset.
