Problem With Receiver and GMAIL

Hi,

I set email notifications as follow:

It works,

But when I set Receiver as follow:

And try to get mails tickets, it fail and crash the web session.

I put the GLPI in debug mode but don't get any aditional logs different from this:

Hi;

I had a similar issue a year ago.
The frist thing you can try is to fill our the "Incoming mail folder box".
The other thing was : Gmail worked with flags on emails. I had to deactived these flags.

Thanks for you message,

I try fill the "incoming mail folder box" with INBOX, and desactived the Flags for IMAP in the gmail account configuration but I get the same behaivor.

Thing most weird for me is that the session crash after we click in "get email tickets", I need to close the navegator and reopen the glpi portal.

Any other Idea?

Special gmail security is disabled ? You don't have mfa or something else activated ?
(Microsoft called this modern authentication.)

Special gmail security is disabled ? You don't have mfa or something else activated ?
(Microsoft called this modern authentication.)

I disabled the less security apps protection and dont have MFA activated, but  It does not work.

We need the output of this files.

I ran a test in debug mode but I dont get any extra log file in that folder, and in the mail.log only get:

It look like debug mode does not working. This is a clean installation.

oh sorry my mistake mail-debug.log mail* are for smtp the sending mail.

Did you check your local firewall or network firewall to allow this service ?

You can try the optional mailbox inbox. Type there "INBOX" (or the folder name of your inbox)

I got this, of course to real mailbox only fun name and password

I try with that change and get this:

I dont know why I cant get PHP Notice logs that you have, It would be very usefull. I run this test in debug mode

I toke a packet capture in order to be sure about my firewall rules and I notice the following:

- My rules work, I can see packets from Gmail to my Glpi Server.

- The last packet before reset  packet is mark as "encryted Alert"

Do It make sense for you?

And your GLPI setup (you can find it in Setup > General menu, System tab) :

I don't know the snapshot from my dev system with running gmail config. I will make new config the next 10 days and will post the result here. If it work in my case.

When mail is delivered over the internet, the sender receives confirmation only from the very first "hop" in the delivery. If there is a problem with a subsequent server, you are only notified after a long period of retries, and even then only in certain situations.

So with respect to GMail, unless you are doing a straight GMail to GMail send, deliver may have failed at dozens of intervening servers with no notice to you at all.
