[solved] Import data in 9.3 /9.4

Hi,
normaly I work with glpi 9.2.3 and often a ticket solution is a table like this:

unbenannt.jpg

Now I "play" a little with 9.3 / 9.4.
After restore my old sql-dump and glpi do a convert to the newer version I have noticed that the old solutions that should contain a table only shows

unbenannt2.jpg

In the 9.3 or 9.4 I create a solution with such a table, do an sql dump and restore them -> its all o.k.
Maybe its a little bug in the convert function?
Hope someone can give this a little attention or has a solution for me to get an correct convert to 9.3 / 9.4.

Thanks for any help or advice.

There is a section for beta test here in the forum. I linked your problem there http://forum.glpi-project.org/viewtopic … 42#p348442

Could you check the contents of the glpi_itilsolutions table and tell us if that seems correct? I wonder if this is a data issue, or just a wrong display.

Re: [solved] Import data in 9.3 /9.4

First of all thanks for linking and now moving to the correct beta-section. I have seen this to late ;-(
...and, of course, thanks that you are on my side to find a solution.

yesterday I have checked / search the tables to the content.
in the "new 9.4" database the content in glpi_itilsolutions table is:

<table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 396pt;" border="0" width="528" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr style="height: 15.0pt;"><td style="he

Then I have copyed the content from glpi_tickets from my old, active (9.2.3) glpi installation manually to the new (9.4) database glpi_itilsolutions table and the table will shown correct.

<table style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 396pt;" border="0" width="528" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr style="height: 15.0pt;"><td style="height: 15.0pt; width: 66pt;" width="88" height="20">Nachname</td><td style="width: 66pt;" width="88">Vorname</td><td style="width: 66pt;" width="88">Klasse</td><td style="width: 66pt;" width="88">Text</td><td style="width: 66pt;" width="88">Anmeldename</td><td style="width: 66pt;" width="88">Password</td></tr><tr style="height: 15.0pt;"><td style="height: 15.0pt;" height="20">*****</td><td>*****</td><td>*****</td><td>Anmeldung mit</td><td>*****</td><td>*****</td></tr></tbody></table><p> </p>

If I count correct it stops by 180 characters.

So in the last minutes I create a ticket in 9.2.3 and type a very long text as solution (normal text), do an database backup and retore the databse in an 9.4 installation.
After glpi do the convert the content in glpi_itilsolutions table is only 180 characters too.
Maybe there is a limitation in the convert function?

Hope this will help a little.

And again: thanks for your support.

Re: [solved] Import data in 9.3 /9.4

Hello trasher,

I have edit the 4 lines in update_92_93.php and then restore my 9.2 sql dump.
glpi do the upgrade to 9.3 and 9.4 with no errors.

The solutions with the tables and the long-text-test-solution are completely migrated to the 9.4.

Many thanks for your quick support!
