Best Practise "Updating GLPI Plugins"?

Hi,

What is the recommendated way to update GLPI plugins in general e.g. FusionInventory?I assume the following procedure, please correct me if I am wrong:
- Deactivate the old version under "Setup/Plugins"
- Delete plugin folder of the old plugin under /glpi/plugins
- Copy new plugin to /glpi/plugins
- Click Update on "Setup/Plugins" of that plugin
I was wondering that GLPI kept some information about the previous plugin, since I deleted the plugin folder...Any help appreciated.

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Re: Best Practise "Updating GLPI Plugins"?

Information about the plugin (data already created) are in the database.
Delete plugin folder doesn't delete data.

Your actions are corrects to update a plugin

CentOS 6.5 - CentOS 7.x
PHP 5.6 - PHP 7.x - MySQL 5.6  - MariaDB 10.2 + APC + oOPcache
GLPI from 0.72 to dev version
