Re: change template

In the create ticket menu there will be on the top of the list 2 stripes (http://helpdesk.ilandsolucoes.com.br/pi … mplate.png), click there to create the template

Re: change template

The template is created and set as default but is only active for ticket creation not for change

Re: change template

There are no templates for changes, because changes are not for "recurrent changes".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Change_management_(ITSM)
Changes justifies for things like...

Upgrading Windows system up to 10.

Tasks lists are:
1.- Backup
2.- Formatting
3.- ...
4......

Changes are used as a model who technicians takes to make a good task (like upgrading).

What are you using changes form for?

Re: change template

We use the change for managing the change processs. I want to create a template for new change creation like to hide the urgency, impact and priority at the creation .

Re: change template

Hi

Despite pretty old subject, I'd like to refresh it a bit:

Let's assume the Changes are indeed unique  - in respect to subject, plans, analysis and items affected. That is true for vast majority of changes, and would remain so for the years to come. However - because they are all dependant on the risk (currently: urgency x impact = priority), then it is possible to image the following situation:
- if the priority lands @very low - no approval is necessary
- if priority climbs to low / medium - at least one approver becomes mandatory
- priority of high is already mandating two approvers
- above that a predefined group / set of approvers appear automatically
This might consitute a "template" - not because change's repeateable nature, but because approvals are getting more a and more important when risk / priority increases.

Maybe it should be included in the request list?

Bests,
Michal
