Can I disable data fields?

Just downloaded the application and am impressed with the range of features, however as it comes it is too much for what we need. I would like it to be simpler. What would be the best way to customize the application so it doesn't require so much data entry when creating a new asset - ie, can certain dropdowns be deleted?

Re: Can I disable data fields?

sorry but you couldn't do this easily for the moment.

But GLPI is opensource so you could adapt GLPI to your needs.

You just  have to spend time or money to do this wink

Okay, what about now?

Can we change the heading titles? Instead of hardware, software, device, etc..

Could we change it to something like: modality, workstation, version, etc...

Re: Can I disable data fields?

Right, but what I'm saying is that instead of "Inventory", can we change it to say something else?
