Ticket type not setting

I have modified a ticket template to use 'Request' as a default type, but when in a new ticket and needing to change the type to 'incident' it refreshes then puts 'request' in again. i'm wanting 'Request' to be the default option but having this set in the ticket template won't allow us to use 'Incident'

any reason why ?

glpi 0.84.2

Re: Ticket type not setting

setup>dropdowns>categories of tickets> choose you category
tab : categories of tickets >
visible for a request
visible for an incident
visible for a problem

Re: Ticket type not setting

ah right, the problem i'm having is occurring before selecting a category, Request shows a a default, and the first thing i'm doing is trying to change Type to incident, but rather it change the type to incident it refreshes the page and goes back to Request, but i think i can see a way around it using what you pointed out. it's just odd that when wanting to change the type as it's possible for the category to cover both that it refreshes back to Request and not stay on Incident, just because the template has Request as the default, if i took the default out of the template i could choose both and the would stay.

Re: Ticket type not setting

Wait spoke too soon, that file even though fixed the selection caused a bigger issue in the fact when look at the job just created it comes up blank.  i tested it with an already open job and that is also blank, so i have restored my older file.
