Ticket assignment: Only two groups show up

I can't find the problem here: All of my users, computer, resources, etc, are on the Root entity. All of my profile assignments are recursive.

I currently have 22 groups.

Tickets that are on the root entity can be assigned to any group.

Tickets that are on other (sub) entities can only be assigned to two specific groups.

I can't find what is making those two groups different; they look the same as any other group.

Help pretty please?

Never mind, found the problem. Groups have a pulldown for child entities. Setting this up to 'yes' allows groups to be assigned to the sub entities.

I don't know if this sounds different in french but to me the 'child entities' bit sounded like it had to do with creating sub groups, and not that the groups could be used on sub entities.
