How can i track the license of software

how i can track the license of software? for example I have 10 licanse for SOFTWARe. I assign thats licanses to 10 users: a,b,c, ..... next month i see that i have 12 instance of that SOFTWARE installed, how l can see which users installed extra SOFTWARE?

Well, there is option from that i can add some licenses (global, free) but i am unable to map those licenses with installed ones.

Ideally it should map with licenses and installed software so that i can see how many licenses are free or how many need to purchase.

Please help me out.

I'd like to know how can I manage license informations, for example:

I have 100 license of Office 2003, how can i record this information when this quote is reached an then recive one alert?
