Hello all!
I created an entity Rooty entity > UO_test_unit entity. Now, I'm trying to link this entity to AD in a way that all the users in a ceratin Organizational Unit (in AD) automatically get this default entity when they log in to the system, but I don't know how to set this up. Basically, I'm trying to implement horizontal security by using entities and link them directly to AD.
GLPi has several fields in "Entities > Advanced Information" but I don't know whaqt is expected to be filled into them.
The fields are:
Information in inventory tool (TAG) representing the entity
LDAP directory information attribute representing the entity
Mail domain surrogates entity
LDAP directory of an entity - ok, that's my AD and it is already set up.
LDAP filter associated to the entity (if necessary)
Please help!

If you have only one (or just a couple) OU you have no need to fill "Entities > Advanced Information"
Just setup Authentication and Authorizations assignment rules.
You would have to setup something like this
(LDAP)DistinguishedName finished by OU=OU_NAME,OU=Domain Users,DC=example,DC=com
---
Entity Assign ...
Profiles Assign ...
Active Assign Yes
Recursive Assign Yes

Hello, I don't understand what should I do with the information provided by sgeorge. I have a root entity with 17 sub-entities and I don't know what to fill in "Entities > Advanced Information" to be sure that I can import users from AD using rules, filters or LDAP information. I will be grateful if anybody provides help.

But when i import user to each Entity. it will import those users to all Entity.
I think that problem related to filter but i don't know to fill information in "Advanced information" on Entiry
