Listing and counting of components?

Greetings,

I have some SFP Transceiver, some are installed on network switch and some are in storage.
I use "components" to add some SFP Transceiver to a switch.

But know I want to now is there a way to list/count how many components(SFP Transceiver) where installed (on what devices), how may components(SFP Transceiver) are still in storage?

Thank you.

Re: Listing and counting of components?

Bump - Anyone have an answer to this? We are having the same issue.

Currently using Generic Devices as a workaround, however since this doesn't show up in a global search (or any other search for that matter), it is a very limited solution.

Any help here is appreciated.

Re: Listing and counting of components?

You need make a specific query to return these results that you want. Each type Components are in various distinct tables. You can use the clause "join" in the necessary tables to show your results, like a stock control.
