Mail Unregistered user

GLPI version 9.3
When you enter mail from an entity not registered as a glpi user:
1.- What happens with the received mail?
2.- How can I recover the sent mail?
3.- What rules must be used to create a ticket in glpi 9.3, from a received email, which is generated by a person not registered as a user of glpi?

This is an old ticket, but I think that the solution is interesting.
You have to go to:
- Setup menu
- General
- Assistant
and set to yes
"Allow anonymous ticket creation (helpdesk.receiver)"
and
"Allow anonymous followups (receiver)"
