Generic mail answer

Hello all,

Is it possible to tell GLPI to not answer some specific adresses ? like no.reply@domain.xyz etc ?

We have some supervision sending mail to GLPI (mail collector), and basically GLPI answers to say that the request is record (as it does for other users)

Problem is that we have a lot of "errors" because the mail adress doesnt exist, and would be nice to avoid that:
Remote Server returned '550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found'

Thank you for help

Guess it is not possible after all ?

Eventually I can add a test in source code to avoir the sending of the email if the recipient is xxx@ccc.com, but a clue to know where it is located would help

Re: Generic mail answer

In User, Setting, I found this: Notifications for my changes = No

Despite this, the notifications are still sent, so I guess it is only for my changes, and not every notifications (would have been nice)

So this is not possible by design, so I need to patch the code to avoid answering to some mail addresses (external domains, specific mails, ...)

Re: Generic mail answer

Since this setting doesn't work at all, is it possible for someone to tell me where in the code, the mail is sent ?

That way, I would be able to add a condition before it is sent, and if "Notifications for my changes = No", then I avoid the email notification
