Hi
I would like to see a Log of emails that were sent when a new ticket was created.
Is there anyway to see such a list ?
Thanks for your reply
Regards
Matt

Hi.
Yes, you'll find the mail.log in glpi/files/_logs/ directory.

I have looked in this folder and see nothing regarding emails. I am on Ubuntu 20.04 with latest GLPI. Would an email log be hiding somewhere else? I cannot get the email notification to work, and cannot find any log to figure out why

Hi.
Yes, you'll find the mail.log in glpi/files/_logs/ directory.
there was no mail.log there or anyplace on the hard drive after installing GLPI. Based on your location, I created the log and match the ownership and permissions of the others.
It began to populate when I resumed testing the notification piece.
Thanks for pointing me to where is should have been. I wonder why it was not created on install. I duplicated the install on a second PC to see if I messed up a step. the install went well, no errors, and no mail.log present.
Curious as to why

Try install an older release, such as 9.4.2, 9.4.3 and so on ..
Look if the behavior about non-existance of mail.log is still there.
Maybe it is a issue from the latest version, or not.

For me (version 9.4.6) that don't work. I created folder (that was missing) and the mail.log file (apache can write in it) and nothing is going inside the file..
Any hint?
Thank you
