Auto assign Profile

Which profile is assigned to User by default? I have enabled Authentication through AD, so user are created on the fly (at time of authentication) so I can not assign profile to them before their first log-in. I really don't want to keep track of every single user that logs in.

Re: Auto assign Profile

You could probably use the "rules engine" to create a rule based on an LDAP Group or an LDAP DistinguishedName match for example, Then you can assign any profile that is available to that matching rule(s)

RedHat Enterprise Linux 5 ES 32Bit x86
PHP 5.1.6 -- Apache 2.2.3
MySQL 5.0.45  --  GLPI 0.72.4 -- OCS 1.32 -- Home brewed MS CM import script

Re: Auto assign Profile

More specifically: Entity and rights assignment rules

I personally use "(AD)DistinguishedName contains <distinquished name string here>" and then assign them as needed.
