We are now using GLPI as our complete helpdesk solution after about a month of solid testing. We have a lot of printers and keeping them upt o date on toner is almost a full time job in itself.
When someone creates a ticket saying theres low toner, obviously we need to go the printer asset and assign a toner and then close the ticket. It would be nice if we could add a toner directly from the ticket interface.
Example:
Someone creates a ticket and selects the printer as the item. The followup portion of the ticket would then have an additional drop down to select the cartridge to be replaced. This would then automatically update cartridge inventory.

There is a link to the printer.
A request to a printer may be for another thing that a toner change. So adding a dropdown can not be automatically.
