best way to handle server frames?

I am trying to inventory IBM pSeries frames.  Each frame can consist of many assets.  Each one of these assets is like a server in that it contains components, but I need a way to connect the multiple servers together to represent the frame.  I can't find a way to connect servers together and list them under one name.  I could create them as devices and link them to a fictitious server, but then I lose the ability to assign components to each device.  What is the best way to handle this situation?  Thanks.
