Changing environment and porting part of the database

We have tested GLPI for about 6 months and are now planning to go live with it in January.

We have tested version 0.71.2 but will go live on version 0.71.3. I’m setting up the new environment right now and I wonder if I can port our open helpdesk tickets from our test environment to our new live environment? I understand I can’t use any built in function and have to fiddle with it myself. But any tips are welcome.

We don’t have any inventories connect to the tickets, but the tickets have histories that I would like to preserve if possible.

Well, the easiest way to handle it was to make sure we close as many tickets as possible before the move. This will only leave us with about 3-5 open tickets to move to the new environment.
