How can I add new default views to glpi profiles ?

In this post someone tried to change the default view of a user when it does login. I want also to change this setting, but instead of the two default values, I wanted to redirect admin users to the computers page.
How can I do this ?

Of course with out-of-the-box version I cannot, but I imagine that if I modify the source I will be able to redirect users to other initial page. Can you point me to a file or procedure to start digging ?

I am also interested in this, if I stumble across anything I'll update the thread.  Hopefully any others who are also interrested will do the same.
