I have created a rule that should match a piece of software and then a assigned to a category, when testing the rule the validation is okay, so the match is working, but I do not see any category assignment done. all the software still stays in the same category.
When is the applied ? Is it a "cron job" that is running or does it just work when importing new PCs ?
I have also tested it with importing new PCs, but no luck. Category always stays the same and is not changed by the rule.
Any idea what could be wrong ?

I finally found the "error". It looks like if you assign such a rule and already have PCs with software that would match that rule already imported, it won't work for the existing nor for the newly imported PCs.
If you import into a "clean" entity it works perfectly.
