ahhh iam going crazy i had this error the first time i implemented GLPI but i solved it then but i have no idear what i did i thought i was a a setting odbc to on but i cant get it to work.
i know about this option
copy the file "libmysql" file PHP in the file "c:\windows\system32" and decomma this line: ";extension=php_mysql.dll"
this is all done but no luck
iam using
iis 6.0
w2k3 standard
mysql
and php 5
well a screenshot says it all
can someone help me out ?

I don't think this is a GLPI issue.
You must have a working web server to install GLPI.
As you are running Windows + ISS and paid for it => use the MS support.

its a bit nonsence to check the msoft help for php error. true its not GLPI thats causing this error but my php is. But comeon howmany times do you guys install php support on a IIS 6 server. The error is very simple php needs to work with mysql but its just not using it.

lol yeah same here, iam normaly a network engineer. but i found out what is the cause of this very enoying problem.
IIS 6.0 looks for the config files in the windows root. not when a file is on C: so all i needed to do was copy the totaly adjusted php.ini file to the windows root and its done. maybe its smart to add that to the tutorial.
