Administrator Password Reset

Hi All

After restarting Ubuntu yesterday; as an administrator I'm locked out. Help?
Active directory users can still login etc.

Basically I'm wondering where I can reset/rewrite the admin to default admin glpi credentials?

Thanks

marts

Re: Administrator Password Reset

Did you have another Super-Admin Account?

Re: Administrator Password Reset

hello
glpi account may be locked.
if you don't have another super admin account, you can change in DB field active from 0 to 1 for user glpi in glpi_users table.

Re: Administrator Password Reset

Hey

The glpi user is already set to 1.
I had a look at some of the other settings like resting the password, still no joy. What about removing this user from the db and adding it again?

thanks for your help <3

Have you still the user "glpi" in glpi_users ?
And which is your glpi's version ?

Hi yllen, I do this "UPDATE glpi_users SET password_md5 = MD5( 'glpi' ) WHERE name='glpi';" and give error "no "password_md5" so I just change it to "password" and in works.

Now I have the glpi user with default password BUT when I clic login it says "You dont have permissions to conect this aplication", help please!..

My GLPI version is 0.90.1

Re: Administrator Password Reset

in 0.90 the password is sha1 encoded, not md5
