change entity

I've setup different entities for different locations.
I also created rules to autom. assign machines to an entity.
But sometimes a machine slips through and stays in the root entity.
How can i change the entity for those machines and add them manually to the right entity?

Many tnx.

Re: change entity

You must use transfert for that.

You could also to prevent this , delete rules that assign machines to the root entity.

So the machines will not be imported and  you would be able to check why

I tried with 'tranfer' but i didn't get the option to tranfer to another entity.
Anyway, i did it directly in de database, so it's solved for me.

many tnx

Re: change entity

if you modify DB to transfer items you will have troubles...
moving an item is not so easy.

Re: change entity

you select items to transfer and move them to another entity.
Transfer confugration manage keeping links or not with others items.
It can auto duplicate items in destination entity
