Reporting Tools

I wonder if anyone else is using any third-party reporting tools to supplement the inbuilt reports? I have developed some very simple inventory reports using iReport, which is a front end to the Open Source Jasper Reports engine.

Any interest in having an online repository of user-submitted reports using iReport or other tools?

Thanks

Nigel Kendrick

a french user create a thread on it :

first you can try to speak in english on this topic to see if others users are interested in.

Re: Reporting Tools

While I have not used iReport (have not heard of it before today) or JasperReports, I would definately be interested in this.  Maybe you can post up a quick howto on english wiki on getting started with iReport and glpi.

Re: Reporting Tools

I have no idea how to use it. Request it on the thread I wrote.

Re: Reporting Tools

Hi - I'll add some notes to the Wiki over the weekend, together with some samples - it's very easy software to use.

Re: Reporting Tools

What type of things do you use iReports for?

I'm looking for a way to separate out Linux and Windows software packages from what OCS imports.

Re: Reporting Tools

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have not added anything to the Wiki yet as I have been busy being ill. I will get back to this task after I have caught up on some work stuff first.
