Post-Only user adding watchers to ticket

Hi,

I read this topic -> http://forum.glpi-project.org/viewtopic.php?id=119602 But I am having a tough time figuring out the configuration to make this workable. To reiterate in my woes:

I want my post-only users (PO-A, PO-B, PO-C ... PO-Z) to be able to add each other was watchers on a ticket.

From 119602 it appears the configuration needs to group all these users together (Group-PO) and make them all Delegatee to the group.

The only functionality this has allowed for is a PO can now submit a ticket on behalf on another but the watcher dropdown remains unpopulated...

I looked at the public GLPI demo and the Watcher list populates but I don't see this delegatee configuration at all (I also don't see how that installation make it work either!)

Am I missing something or is my installation of GLPI (9.1.1) broken?

Thanks for the help!

Re: Post-Only user adding watchers to ticket

You can add a watcher only at the creation of the ticket.
No problem for me with latest stable version (9.1.6)

Your help and response is appreciated but at least one of us misunderstands.

I want Post-Only users to be able to add other users as watchers (yeah, at ticket creation). I don't think this is a problem with the latest stable version (or my version 9.1.1) other then not having clear literature on how this configuration can be created.

But in my install of glpi 9.1.1 even when I have the users in the same group as Delegatees, which so far as the manuals suggest is the configuration for this function, they can not add other users as watchers on the ticket.

Re: Post-Only user adding watchers to ticket

You don't have configuration for that, it's directly in the form. You have a part Watchers under Location part.
In the dropdown, you have all users who have right to the current entity

Okay, thank you for helping me find the effective way to explain this. In the demo that dropdown is populated. But in my install that dropdown is not.

How do I give one post-only user entity rights to add the other post-only user entities?

Re: Post-Only user adding watchers to ticket

Your users must be created in the same entity like the entity you are to create a ticket or have recursive profile from root entity.
I created a new user "toto" and give him post-only profile for my entity A.
When he create a ticket he can see all users who have rights on ticket of the entity A
