Hello ,
i would like to know in GLPI is there an option to send Mass notification to users regarding scheduled maintenance or outage?

Hello! You can use the plugin News  to do that.

i know about that option. but i wanted to know if we can inform the users with a general email notification.

Shouldn't you use an e-mail software for that? What is an advantage in using GLPI for doing mass e-mailing? What's gonna happen when users start replying to that e-mail?
