Re: ocs and fusioninventory

hi

Yes you can have both client on same computer without problem.

I did it when I test fusioninventory in replacement of OCS.

And I use OCS client to deploy fusioninventory wink.

Re: ocs and fusioninventory

Thank you very much Narutobaka,
can I ask u the command line to install fusioninventory agent in silent mode ?
I see there are many options to install... and some looks "strange".

/S /acceptlicense /add-firewall-exception /installtasks=Collect,Deploy,Inventory,NetDiscovery,NetInventory,WakeOnLan /runnow /execmode=Service /installtype=from-scratch /httpd-trust='127.0.0.1/32,192.168.2.119/32,and.my.pc.ip/32' /no-category= /scan-homedirs /server='http://192.168.2.119/plugins/fusioninventory/' /tasks=inventory,deploy,inventory,...

for example could be useful the args /scan-homedirs ?
I think no because I am not interested if any users have virtualmachine..
Also I don't understand the difference betwheen /installtasks and /tasks
Thank u for help..

Re: ocs and fusioninventory

Thank u very much.

Anyway fusioninventory has some cons ... for example does not show me the empty ram slot. OCS does!

Re: ocs and fusioninventory

hi

Yes there is some différence between OCS and Fusioninventory.

You have to make test to see them.

Some post on GLPI and Fusioninventory forum talk about those difference.
