Users don't see categories

Hello,
i do upgrade GLPI from 0.9.0.3 to 9.1.1
After that plain users (not technicans) can see all categories form all entities. Now they must change first entity..

I have 3 entities:
1-- (root)
    2 --
    3 --

before upgrade users chose 1 entity with tree structure and can choose where send ticket. Now can do that.
All plain users have recursive profiles and all in 1 entity. Can I do that as before?

Best Regards,

Re: Users don't see categories

When plain users are in root entity and create ticket don't see categories from other entities. They must change entity. In version 0.9.0.3 users see all categories from all entities (they must choose tree structure).

Re: Users don't see categories

Hello

You have to create your categores on root entity with child entities (yes)

Re: Users don't see categories

Your users must a a recursive profile from root entity

Re: Users don't see categories

Users have set recursive profile from root entity but they still must change entity to send ticket. Even they are in 1 entity (tree structure).

Re: Users don't see categories

Hi,
why dont you set technicians profiles in root recursive, plain user(requesters) in sub entity 2. and create 2 groups for technicians.

set technician profile to see group tickets ( not all tickets) and set a rule  to assign ticket to group depending of category ?

so requester can choose all category and technicians can see only assigned tickets. (I guess it's your goal)

Re: Users don't see categories

Hi,
thanks for respond.

I have 4 different's entities whit different's problems what they solve. In earlier version of GLPI 0.90.3 i have that i wrote above. After upgrade plain users
can't choose categories even they in root entity (tree structure). Plain users are in root entity with recursive profile. Ich entity have own technicians.

I have the same settings for entities and profile users but they not work in new version. There's possible to do dat without rebuild schema of entities?

Re: Users don't see categories

If i change that like you say users must choose categories from all categories. In our entities are many categories.

Re: Users don't see categories

When you create a ticket, you only see category of the entity where you are.
After adding a requester, the ticket will be created in the entity of the requester and you will see only category of the entity of the requester.

Recursivity of category means you can see parent categories not child categories

Re: Users don't see categories

Ok, but when you choose for example sub entity 2 you see categories from this sub entities
but when you choose root entity with tree structure.. i should see all categories from all entities and sub entities?

Re: Users don't see categories

No. Like i said: in an entity, you see categories of this entity and categories of parent entities (if categories are recursive).

In sub-entiy you see categories of sub-entity and categories of root entity.
In root entity you don't have parent entity so you only see categories of root entity.

Recursivity: you have parameter Sub-entity Yes/NO not a parameter parent entity

Well.
