Fusioninventory rule is for automatic import of computer.
Rule are natively in GLPI and are for many item (rights, business rule, category for software, ticket created by mail collecor)

Re: GLPI rules issue ?

Hi yllen,

so it is possible to automatically import computer using GLPI rules alone or should we use rules from inventory agent (like fusioninventory) to do all the actions to import computer, printer etc?

In fact it is not very clear...in GLPI 9.1.x I have the following possibilities for rules

1) Assignment rules of an element to an entity
2) import and link rules of computers
3) Fusioninventory - Entities rules
4) Fusioninventory - import and link rules of devices

for the assignment of an element to an entity which rule should I choose 1) or 3)
and for the import and link rules which one should choose between 2) and 4)

There are a lot of options and the documentation is not very very helpfull.

BR,
Narcisse
