task reminder notification false email recipient [resolved]

I'm not sure about the reminder function how it was planed but i think the following is a bug:

1 Ticket Creation (done from ron)
2 Assign Ticket to Technician Tom (done from ron)
3 Create Task and Assign the task to harry. (with reminder)
--> The reminder E-mail is send to ron.  (false)

I think the reminder should send to harry.
The reminder email should send to whom the task was assigned.
I can see the task in the calender from harry. (correct)

There is no way to change this notification in the settings.
I think there might be a dependence on the "basic" reminder from tools.

Default technician is who asiggn the task. In your case it would be Tom. Unless Tom assign the task himself.

Re: task reminder notification false email recipient [resolved]

I think you are wrong.

In calender view tom don't see the task.
In calender view harry can see the task but don't get the reminder!

Or i go wrong because the availability view only looks at tom.
But in this case the calender view has the bug.

The ticket creation is a little more complex. I thought this is not relevance.

1a Ticket Creation from hermine (post-only)
2 Ticket Assignment from new to a technician (tom). This work ist done from Ron (custom hotliner profile).
3 Create Task and Assign the task to harry by ron. (with reminder)
--> The reminder E-mail is send to tom.  (false)

Re: task reminder notification false email recipient [resolved]

can you most in http://glpi.userecho.com/ to have more opinions?

You can want that the author of the task is notified to follow if it do the job (supervisor adding the task)
You can want that the technician assign to the task receive the notification to know he has job to do.

Re: task reminder notification false email recipient [resolved]

At the moment 0.90.3 this is the situation:

1 Ticket Creation from hermine (post-only)
2 Ticket Assignment from new to a technician (tom). This work ist done from Ron (custom hotliner profile).
3 Create Task and Assign the task to harry by ron. (with reminder)
4 The reminder E-mail is send to the creater of the task. This is ron (hotliner profile). = false

In calender view (assistance - planning - peronal view) harry see the task but don't get the reminder!
In calender view tom don't see the task. = correct. (If he is in the same group he can see in group view)

Now a super-admin can change the recipient on notification template.
