Sending email to External Assignments

If I assign a ticket to an external supplier/contact is it supposed to send an email to them too? I can't see this happening and can't see any options to enable this.

No, I have post the same subject and developers said me no. For bypassing that, I create a new user GLPI and we affect the ticket à that user !
