ocs auto synchronizing, still not working

I still have problems with the auto-synchronization.
Computers get updated from ocs and appear in the list at page glpi/front/ocsng.sync.php
But I always have to click the "synchronize" button to get the synchronisation done. I want this to happen automatically. Same for new computers...

Any idea's?
Kind regards,
Yves

This is enabled, that's the problem :-)
It's set to import 10 computers, but doesn't seem to do it.

I installed that plugin b4 but can't configure it in glpi 0.70.2, so I'm kind of stuck here.

kind regards

For the plugin:
When I go to plugins, I see the ocs mass import plugin installed, but there's nothing I can do with it.
When I click it I get the line "Configuration of plugin OCS Massive import" but that's it, I can't do anything. No further buttons or fields...

For the normal autom. sync:
I always have to click the "synchronize" button to get the synchronisation done
So updated/new computers appear in a list, but I have to click "Synchronize" If I don't click synchronize the list just keeps growing. You know what I mean?

Kind regards
Yves

Re: ocs auto synchronizing, still not working

plugin :
required : a working synchronization between ocs and glpi (it seems your case)
install it and configure it from the Setup -> plugins menu
then in command line (I assume that you're under unix or linux) launch the .sh file without parameters (launch it as the apache's user, unless you'll have a lot of error message)

then it should synchronize your machines, and in plugins menu you should get the detail of the process

That's the problem, I can not configure anything there!
I can just click the ocs mass import plugin, but I get no configuration parameters.
I can e-mail you a screenshot if you pm me your address.

S1HBA0001INV:/var/www/glpi/plugins/mass_ocs_import/scripts#

No error messages, but also nothing happens.
I kind of expected this without any configuration :-)

Tnx4 your help!
Kind regards

You must configure :

1/ Configuration / General / restriction / Mode OCSNG

2/ Configuration / mode OCSNG

This is al configured.
Import from ocsng works fine.
Just the plugin doesn't.
When I go to setup->plugins i see, "ocs massive import #1" below "select a plugin to configure"
When I click "ocs massive import #1", Nothing happens. I can NOT enter any configuration parameters. I don't even get fields or whatever to add or select something.

Ok, I took screenshots.

http://81.82.202.177/downloads/

screen1 shows the settings--> plugins before clicking on the plugin
screen2 show the screen after clicking the plugin from screen1

Hope this clears things up a bit :-)

Re: ocs auto synchronizing, still not working

Hi,

Sorry, but when I install the svn version I get a blank page as soon as I try to acces glpi.
I chowned the plugin to the apache user and also tried to chmod 777. No difference.
Renaming the old version back and removing the new one from the plugins directory sets everything like before.

Kind regards
Yves

Re: ocs auto synchronizing, still not working

Thanks for the test.

Can you try the lastest SVN (tomorrow tarball) or your version 1.1 remplacing front/plugin_mass_ocs_import.config.form.php with the one pointed by the link.

Remi.

Tnx, I tried it but got the same problem.
I'll try again tomorrow with the new tarball.
Right now I'm to busy struggling with this http://glpi-project.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=9452
This really starts giving me sleepless nights! :-)

Hi remi,

I just tried to install the 1.1 version.
Something must be wrong.
I untarred the plugin in the plugins directory.
Then I chmod -R the directory to 777 to be sure we don't have permission problems.
Then I log out from glpi, and I get no login page anymore.(I only get a blank screen)
When i delete the new version of the plugin from the plugins/ directory, and rename the old one again to its default name, everything is fine again.
Any ideas?

Kind regards
Yves

Re: ocs auto synchronizing, still not working

I think you shouldn't rename the directory but move it to another location, because both directory will be considered as plugins.

chrmod 777 is really a bad idea.

I just followed the update procedure :-)
http://glpi-project.org/wiki/doku.php?id=en:plugins

But ok, i 'll try this in 5 min.
Yes I know about 777, but I wanted to be sure it was no rights issue.
Of course I will not leave it like that ;-)

EDIT: It looks like it's working. I can configure it now :-)
If I experience any further problems, I'll post back here. Tnx!

Yves

PS A little question, What does the "number of machines" do under script behaviour?
This is set to 0, is this ok?
