Bulk load possible ? recommend

Hi,

Is possible to make a bulk load to the GLPI system, if possible, what's your recommendation ??
we have a lot of computer related items in multiple spreadsheets, and we want to use GLPI, but we are looking ways to save us typing one by one.

Thanks a lot for your ideas and help.

Re: Bulk load possible ? recommend

with the future version of GLPI (0.7), you would be able to use a new plugin 'Importation'.

This plugin could import in GLPI multiple informations from csv files.

Re: Bulk load possible ? recommend

Hi,

I still can't acces to GLPI while \plugins\data_injection directoy exist,  you could see a message "Sorry, you can't access directly to this file" , if you delete this directory you can access normally to GLPI interface,
I have been trying to copy this directory inside Plugins directory using differents directory structures without success, although another plugins work ok, and GLPI recognizes it very well :-<

Any idea ???

Thanks

if you use an svn version of glpi 0.7, could you upgrade to RC1 beta ?

Re: Bulk load possible ? recommend

I just downloaded and upgraded to RC1.

I'm using a fresh GLPI installation and simply I have copied the file structure under HTDOCS/GLPI
replacing it with RC1.

I have  launched http://localhost/glpi appears a page with some validations run ok but warned me that my database was outdated, we proceed with update it and sucesfully work ok.

Now, I'm in the logon page when I post our credentials, appears a blank page.

perhaps I skip some step ? I didn´t read your readme.txt file, I just was trying to save time.

What do you think now ????

Thanks again

Re: Bulk load possible ? recommend

Hi,

I could make a clean installation, and everything works fine. (RC1, Data Injection).

In conclusion, was a resources problem, I think that perhaps we could live with 0.63 version until RC1 is finally in production. We will be doing an eager reception.

data injection does not run in 0.63

Thanks for your ideas,
Merci beaucoup

Re: Bulk load possible ? recommend

Hello,

I did a upgrade from 0.68.3-2 to 0.7 rc1 incl. a database update. And wanted to use the plugin. But can't find the menu Administration =. configuration. And when i made the directory under plugins, I get a blanc screen. memory_limit is already 32M.

TIA

Re: Bulk load possible ? recommend

Sorry,

Configuration - plugins isn't anywhere in the menu's.

Blank screen:
PHP ERROR : Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CLASS in /helpdesk/html/plugins/data_injection/inc/plugin_data_injection.backend.class.php on line 37

When i delete the dir, i can connect to GLPI.

Thanks, already
