How do you handle KVM Switches?

I see KVM switches get added as devices, but I cannot connect monitors to them . . . How is this supposed to work? Also, it doesn't allow me to (from the device entry) add more connections so I can quickly add the connected computers. Instead I have to go to the several computers and add the device.

use it like a network device and define a port on your monitor and connect them.

Create a peripheral and connect it to computers. But you cannot connect a monitor to this.
