Auto Update of OCSNG Imported records?

So, I checked my sychronization report on already imported computers in GLPI today, and I show 153 out of 188 machines have an older date in GLPI than in OCSNG. Many of these have a date of 10/9/06 when the OCSNG Update is 10/16/06. Every one has a yes in the autoupdate column.

Do I need to manually sychronize these or do they autoupdate? If they do autoupdate, when/how often do they do this? Can I set the frequency of the update?

Re: Auto Update of OCSNG Imported records?

which version do you used ?

auto update depending of you ocsng configuration.
A cron job is launching everyu 5 mns (in activity time) is the number of auto updated computers is not null on the OCSNG mode configuration.

You could synchronize them amnually too.

Re: Auto Update of OCSNG Imported records?

I use the latest version 0.68.2 IIRC. I see that it does happen, I just wondered how often. Thank you.

Re: Auto Update of OCSNG Imported records?

I've had the system running for over a day now, and there has been no synchronization from OCSNG to GLPI.  Please help me diagnose this.

Thank you.

Re: Auto Update of OCSNG Imported records?

I have noticed that aside from the initial import of data, GLPI doesn't seem to pick up on new software installs etc. I'm not exactly sure what gets syched - but as I've said, it would be nice if the software managment would be more automated (that is, if OCSNG sees a new install, GLPI automatically asigns a license either from to buy, or from a pool specified per software, and likewise if the software is gone on the next inventory, GLPI uninstalls it from that machine and readds it to the license pool).
