Link between User and Computer

Hello,
I've changed the username format used within GLPI so I can manage users with the same "username" but belonging to different AD domains.

The side effect seems that now computers imported from GLPI are not automagically linked to the user logging on the machine.

Which criteria is used to establish this link? In case, can I create a sort of rule/filter to restore this function?
