Hi everyone,
hope someone can help. Searched for a solution allready in this forum, but couldnt find a solution for my problem:
We are using GLPI 9.1 on a Windows Server 2008R2 with Xampp and we activate mailgate for opening tickets via mail and OCSNG for import PCs from OCS and update them from the OCS Database, both in CLI Mode.
On the server we are running a Windows- Task (C:\xampp\php\php.exe -f cron.php) every 5 Minutes to activate the cron job. Most of the time it runs without problems, but sometimes the mailgate and OCSNG Tasks remaining in Status "running". After that, we have to stop the automatic task manualy (click on the cross) and than it works again.
In the cron.log is no problem logged.
Some ideas or a solution for this???

It's this append when you make a database save?
CentOS 6.5 - CentOS 7.x
PHP 5.6 - PHP 7.x - MySQL 5.6 - MariaDB 10.2 + APC + oOPcache
GLPI from 0.72 to dev version
Certifiée ITIL (ITV2F, ITILF, ITILOSA)

No...at the moment we don't really do a database save, cause we don't found a good way to safe the database on Windows with Xampp (any proposals for this?). GLPI is running on a Virtual Hyper-V Server, so at the moment we just save the whole Server.
Today it happend again. When I look at the automatic tasks, 5 Minutes ago, the mailgate Task is in running mode since 5'o clock.

I faced the same issue some time ago. Since GLPI tasks are simple "batches" and not "daemons" I ended up creating a simple script that update the task status in db when tasks run for more than 1 hour.
I'm sure I've seen a specific GLPI task that unlocks cron jobs, but cannot cleary remember the details.

@LucaC Do you still have the script? Couldn't find a task in GLPI 9.1 that unlocks job...u remember the name of this task?
