Change global search (top-right search box) criteria

Hello Guys,
I'm new to using GLPI and finding it awesome. I am testing this right now to implement it at small level.

One thing I saw is, when perform global search (from the top-right search box) it searches in
-almost all under assets
-a few from assistance
-a few from management
Is there a way to limit it to a few category and add some new?

Moreover, when it finds in Assets, it only looks for " "Items seen".
Can it be changed to "all"? (so that it searches for all fields in given category)

Global search is for all items and it's based on personal view.
You have no parameters to change search options

I guess I need to add all the categories in list view (for each table) to be able to search them from global search box.
