Assign computers to different entities baseed on their ip.

Hi i am trying to create a rule so that future computers inserted to our database

will be automatically assigned to different entities based on their ip.

So i want to create a rule that says that all computers from within the ip range of 10.128.45.0-254

will be moved to entity X.

But i cannot find a way to do that..

Any help please ???

Rules -> Rules for assigning an item to an entity -> +

Add a new criteria

Subnet -> 10.128.45.0

P.D.
I don't know if Subnet criteria accepts CIDR, because it would be like 10.128.45.0/24
Or it's linked to Setup -> Dropdowns -> IP networks

Try both and tell us how did it work.

Thank you very much for you r reply ....!

What worked for me was setting  the CIDR rule from within the fusioninventory plugin and then --> Rules  --> computer entity rules.

i set up a rule with the criteria to be CIDR is x.x.x.x/x and then assign to the desired entity
