'Category' in Ticket Template

Hi,

Is there anyway you can remove the 'Category' option from the ticket template? It is not listed as an option under the 'hidden fields' section of the ticket template.

Thanks.

Re: 'Category' in Ticket Template

You can't hide category because you can have auto assignation based on a category

CentOS 6.5 - CentOS 7.x
PHP 5.6 - PHP 7.x - MySQL 5.6  - MariaDB 10.2 + APC + oOPcache
GLPI from 0.72 to dev version

Re: 'Category' in Ticket Template

Thank you yllen for your reply.

We have come across a plugin that might be useful.

http://plugins.glpi-project.org/#/plugin/hidefields

The instructions for the plugin are below:-

# Hide Fields
GLPi plugin to hide fields on simplified interface ticket creation form.

Currently this plugin hides only the ticket category field.

Installation:
- download the archive file
- copy content of archive into your glpi/plugins/ folder, beware that the plugin folder must be hidefields.
- go to glpi plugins page to install and activate the newly installed plugin.
